Kelantan Red Warriors FC has officially created history after qualifying for the Malaysia Cup for the first time in the 2025/26 season. The team earned their place following confirmation from the Malaysian Football League (MFL) that one of the three teams which qualified by merit could not complete their participation requirements, thereby granting KRW FC the opportunity as the next eligible club.

A Year of Hard Work and Resilience

This milestone achievement marks a remarkable journey for KRW FC, who were fully taken over by Nasken Coffee just before the start of the A1 Semi-Pro League season. The road to this point has been anything but easy. The team endured a challenging start, going winless in the first six matches and struggling to find the back of the net, which saw them drop to the lower ranks of the table.

Despite early setbacks and criticism from some quarters, the club’s management, coaching staff, and players never gave up. Their collective belief, determination, and desire to improve have now borne fruit as Kelantan Red Warriors FC proudly earn their first-ever qualification to Malaysia’s most prestigious football competition — the Malaysia Cup.

A Reward for Faith and Support

“Alhamdulillah, this success is a blessing that reflects the hard work of everyone involved — management, coaches, players, and especially our loyal supporters who have stood by us through every challenge,” the club stated.

The team dedicated this achievement to their fans, whose unwavering support has been crucial in motivating the Red Warriors throughout the season.

Celebrating a New Chapter

This qualification marks the beginning of a new chapter in Kelantan Red Warriors FC’s modern football journey. It serves as both a symbol of progress and a reward for perseverance within just a year of the club’s existence.

The management extends heartfelt appreciation to all supporters for their continuous belief and encouragement.

Let’s celebrate this historic feat together — Kelantan Red Warriors FC are officially heading to the Malaysia Cup stage for the first time ever.
